Do you mix your media? I find mixed more fun than anything else. I can reach for any paint, pastel, pencil, stencil or stamp. I can use brush, roller, or fingers.

Have you noticed how seldom you receive mail that looks personal. Perhaps it has a hand-addressed envelope…or at least your correct name on the envelope.

I don’t know about you, but I always give this mail my full attention. Someone is actually trying to communicate a personal message to me.

How do you thank your clients? Do you send them a stock mass-produced card, or do you send something that is carefully selected, non-generic?

I always use one of my hand-made cards. Although they take time to make, I consider my clients worth the time. Would you like to learn to make your own personal cards? If you are an artist, thanking your collectors in this way can boost your success substantially. It makes a wonderful impression and makes people feel appreciated.

Realizing that my ownl Vision Board is responsible for much of my personal succes, I’ve decided to share my secrets with a few people.

My new class “How to Use the Power of Visual Imagery to Reach your Dreams “  will be on Sat. Feb 28. If you aren’t familiar with Vision Boards, they are the closest thing possible to magic. And you don’t even have to believe in magic. But you do have to actually MAKE your Vision Board for it to work…just thinking about it or knowing about it doesn’t give you the result. My 2 hour class provides a time, ALL the supplies, and access to my personal secrets about Vision Boards. If you watched “the Secret,” tried some of the things you learned, but weren’t able to manifest your heart’s desire, this class might just provide the missing piece of the puzzle.

On these days, I open my studio to a small number of people who want to experience painting…just for the joy of playing with paint. No previous experience is required. I share my glorious light-filled studio, my supplies, and a bit of my knowledge for those who want it. That means I provide only the information you request. Artists, writers, and other creative people make their living through the application of their art. These people learn that when they forget to nourish that precious child inside of them, they may experience blocks. (Blocks are extended periods of time when they are unable to produce). The creative force simply stops. The cure involves nourishing that inner child (or spirit) that is the creative source, and encouraging it to reappear.

            We cannot compel creativity, but we can pave the way for it. We can best encourage our creativity by allowing ourselves unstructured time and by welcoming our creativity when it decides to appear. If we are open to new ideas, they will present themselves more often.
