I love
the feeling of fantasy in this painting. I wandered for days in the lacy shapes within the
foilage of this fantastic tree, that magically surfaced from my imagination. I think it
has a little bit of "Snow White" and "Sleeping Beauty" within it. I
hope you enjoy it as much as I do!
I used transparent watercolor for
the tree and opaque watercolor for the sky.
I love to look for the lacy
patterns within foilage and shadows. The variety and beauty of these patterns always
amazes me. Many people tell me this is their favorite of my paintings.
